On Wednesday, December 7th, President Obama overruled the Food and Drug Administration's decision to allow emergency contraception to be sold over the counter.
A study conducted from 2006 to 2008, found that of the 6,300 sexually active women surveyed, 10% had used the morning after pill.
The morning after pill is not the abortion pill; emergency contraception is birth control and not an abortion.
