The National Debt is a dangerous thing to have and an easy thing to wipe out. There is a hidden danger with debt that can cause economies to fall like dominos. Suppose Alice owes Jane $100 and Jane owes Phil $100 dollars. If Alice can't pay Jane then Jane can't pay Phil. Everyone stumbles. This is a Debt Chain and if Phil where to owe Alice it would be a debt loop. The solutions are simple, Alice's debt need to be traded up to Phil and Phil's investment needs to be traded down to Alice. If the debt is in a debt loop where Phil also owes Alice $100, then the debt can be completely wiped out. The National Debt is most definitely a large debt loop where most of the people that are owed the money also pay taxes. By matching treasury notes with "Tax-payer" notes the debt may be eliminated.
