Most people who become disabled need healthcare and medications to survive. By making disabled people wait two years for medicare many are being condemed to death or torture of an inhumain nature. With the amount one makes on disability it is not possible to buy insurance. There are medication programs out there but it does not do any good if you can not afford to see your doctor or get required lab work. Many are falling through the cracks because they make just over the limit to get medicaid but not enough to purchase insurance.
