Exit Afghanistan by mid-2013 - one year sooner than currently projected after 12+ years of conflict. No American would have voted for or accepted a "nation-building" war lasting 13 years and costing (to-date) $1.2 Trillion while losing 2,000 soliders KIA and 18,000 wounded in a country doomed to revert back to their past once Americans and their Allies withdraw in 2014. If - as anticipated - our efforts will fail to turn this country around by 2014, why not leave in 2013 so we can focus on rebuilding America.
