This petition calls on our representatives to withdraw our troops from Iraq and Afghanistan immediately. Trillions of dollars have been spent on these wars. Thousands of American troops have lost their lives. Thousands more have suffered severe injury, including brain trama. Hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians in these countries have died. With President Obama's timetable for withdraw all of these tragic realities will only increase. Polls have shown for years that the public feels we should withdraw our troops. Now it is time for our representatives to listen to their constituents.
Wars are poor chisels for carving out peaceful tomorrows.
