Wars being fought and security being offered by the United States around the globe is a massive draw on our economy. While we are struggling through economic collapses we should stop the incredible amount of spending on wars we have already won or should not be engaged in to begin with.
The fuel costs alone to run cooling units for our desert based troops was more than our budget for NASA. Osama Bin Laden is dead and Saddam Hussein is dead. I see no more reason for us to be in the middle east. I believe the problems in the middle east should be left up to them and their way of life.
I believe the middle eastern campaign is not financially responsible spending in our current situation given that our goals were met. I believe our troops should strengthen our home borders by being at home
