Foreign interventionism puts Americans in danger both at home and abroad. American military presence creates a climate of fear and resentment in the residence of the countries in which the US military occupies. Furthermore, such military presences are financially unsustainable. Recognizing the responsibility of all people's to provide for their defense, the US government should relinquish such responsibilities to the inhabitants of the respective countries currently occupied by US forces.
