Whereas the neither the US constitution, nor any of the following amendments, grants the Federal government the power to pass laws restricting intrastate commerce
And furthermore, considering that there is no stated restriction within the constitution or any amendment which restricts the growing or distribution of marijuana.
And finally, considering that the Tenth Amendment provides that powers not granted to the federal government by the Constitution, nor prohibited to the States, are reserved to the States or the people.
it may be asserted that any and all Federal Laws in place which restrict such intrastate free trade of marijuana are invalid and unconstitutional.
We the people call upon the president to immediately recognize that states retain the right to regulate these matters.
