Israel is an ally of the United States and should remain as such. But, it is appalling that the United States would not withdraw aid to the Israeli government until Palestine is given full unadulterated statehood. The people of Palestine deserve equality with those of Israel. Americans continue to fight and die for the cause of spreading democracy. We should not support governments who refuse to help us spread freedom and peace.
