Recently, a mandate was made for truck drivers and bus drivers to have an electronic logbook, or E-log, in their vehicle to document where they are and how often they stop. Though it was created as a safety regulation, the devices will only hinder truck drivers. They will be late to appointments, pay fines to companies for loading or unloading late and add unnecessary stress to their lives. Please, take action and help these drivers get home on time.
