withdraw medals of honor of the members of the 7th Cavalry who participated in genocide at Wounded Knee, SD in 1890.

Created by G.P. on January 09, 2013

On December 29, 1890, under the Command of Colonel Forsyth were awarded medals of honor for the massacre of innocent women and children at Wounded Knee, SD.

On June 12, 1989, The Secretary of the Army approved the restoration of the Medals of Honor to five civilian scouts including William Cody aka Buffalo Bill, 72 years after they were removed from the review board.

All medals of honor issued at Wounded Knee must be removed. The murder of innocent women and children is not honorable, nor was Wounded Knee a battle; it was a massacre.
