Withdraw from the Outer Space Treaty of 1967

Created by J.C. on December 02, 2015

In 1967 the ratification of the Outer Space Treaty was enacted. This Cold War relic has no place in today's society. Recently the United States passed into law the U.S. Commercial Space Launch Competitiveness Act, however the Outer Space Treaty questions the legality of this new law. We should leave no doubt when it comes to our emerging space industry and the potential for job creation it brings with it. The Outer Space Treaty could render humanities advancement into space stagnant for decades to come.
