The world's nations have been clear that they think US forces are unwelcome oversees. We can scale back the military. With all the money being saved on scaled-back oversees forces and military bases, the United States government can put that money to use building up smaller nations to have better schools, sanitation facilities, and industry. A more stable country is a less violent country and one less susceptible to terrorism.
