These two "secret" agreements will hurt American workers and consumers. We ask our President to reverse his support of these agreements, and protect American jobs. Furthermore, we ask for complete transparency of the details of these and all future trade negotiations, as was promised in the Obama political campaigns.
The TPP and TTIP will not create jobs, protect the environment or ensure safe imports. They will not improve the local economy, make US manufactured products more competitive in a global marketplace, or help small businesses in any way. These agreements only help large corporations and will likely result in the same migration of jobs out of the United States which followed the introduction of NAFTA. We don't need these agreements, and we don't want them.
