We the undersigned ask that the United States withdraw our recognition of the Vatican as a sovereign state for two reasons,
1. The Vatican is a sovereign state because of a deal made with the Fascist State of Italy and Mussolini.
2. The Vatican has and is still covering up the sexual abuse of children. They have protected the church rather than the children. They have thousands of documents concerning child abuse and the abusers they protect.
