Withdraw/increase the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2012 (Public Law 112-74) placing a lifetime maximum on Pell Grant

Created by S.E. on January 20, 2013

The Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2012 (Public Law 112-74) places a lifetime maximum for Pell Grants. This limits someone being able to complete anything higher than an Associates Degree. In today's job market, most "career" positions require a Bachelors. This is just another way to make people get into further debt by trying to improve themselves and their families futures. In this economy, who can really afford to pay for their schooling 100% out of pocket? The maximum needs to be increased or removed immediately!!!
