withhold all future paychecks to all Congressmen and the President of the United States until they can do their jobs.

The men and women who have been elected to represent us in the federal government have not been doing their jobs for some time. While budget cuts and freezes for many federal agencies have been made in recent years, our legislators have promised us the impossible and then stalled progress and normal legislative procedures so that they do not disappoint us, their constituents. If anything can persuade them to act in the best interests of the nation - and this can only be accomplished through compromise - perhaps personal financial hardship will do the job.
