Withhold the pay of all elected, government officials until this Fiscal crisis is resolved.

Created by J.O. on December 28, 2012

On behalf of the people of the United States of America, we ask that the salaries of elected officials be suspended until terms can be agreed upon for the Fiscal dilemma we are speeding towards. If financial responsibility and terms cannot be agreed upon, if Congress is allowed to recess in the midst of oncoming hazard, then these elected public servants do not need to be compensated for incompetence. Thanks to a 1989 law, allowing Congress annual pay raises, they have now voted themselves an increase from $98,400 in 1990 to $154,700 in 2003, and currently grossing $174,00 annually. If you do not work, you do not eat. This includes working tirelessly towards compromising on important economical, financial and national issues, not recessing in the middle of pending crisis.
