withhold the pay of any Senator who refuses to do his or her job confirming Supreme Court nominees.

Created by L.C. on March 16, 2016

The Constitution clearly delineates the roles the president and the Senate must play in the appointment process of Supreme Court justices: “The President . . . shall nominate, and by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, shall appoint . . . judges of the Supreme Court." The Senators who are refusing to do their job are violating the Constitution and as taxpayers, we should demand that their salaries be withheld for dereliction of duty and failure to perform their obligations.
