We the People are in charge of our government and yet the people we elect into the Senate, Congress and other political positions are paid for not doing their jobs.
Granted, there are those that have fulfilled some of their campaign promises but the issues I refer to are the primary issues that are currently facing our future.
These issues include but are obviously not limited to:
Economy
Education
Jobs
Debt and Deficit
Social Security/Medicare
While there are other important issues, I'm sure most will agree that these are the ones that need to be addressed. What better incentive to correct these issues than to withhold pay instead of letting them finish their term and elect someone else with the hopes that they will address these issues.
