This petition is an effort to stop all the partisan politics and personal gain of those elected officials that are suppose to be working for all Americans, not just the special interest groups that give them large sums of money. They are suppose to be working for the good of the USA and not the NRA, AFL-CIO, or Mr. Norquist.
We are becoming a red and blue country, and we are suppose to be a red, white, and blue country. Many brave men and women have lost their lives fighting to protect and maintain the United States of America, and now these elected officials are being bought and paid for by special interest groups. If that's the way they want to do business fine, they and their staffs can be paid by the special interest groups and not by the United States Treasury Department.
