The current President and members of Congress have not passed a budget in the past 4 years. By failing to do so, they are not performing their jobs duties.
Unless they are penalized for not doing their job, they have absolutely no incentive to do so and We the People will suffer. Therefore, we petition the President to withhold paychecks and health benefits from Congress and himself until such time as they can come to an agreement and pass a balanced budget.
Additionally, when they resume receiving their paychecks, their salaries will be reduced by 2% every week that passed from now until a balance budget is achieved.
