Withhold politicians' pay during government shutdowns. If government employees don't get paid, politicians shouldn't.

Created by K.L. on September 30, 2013

Currently, the government may be headed for a shutdown (if it hasn't already). This means that government employees will not get paid, and government agencies will be closed. Politicians are playing with Americans' livelihood for nothing other than greed and selfishness, as well as for their own personal gain. It is only right that if there is a shutdown, and pay and services are withheld from government employees and the American public, then so too should the politicians have their pay withheld for the duration of the shutdown.
