If I don't go to work, my employer does not have to pay me. Well the House of Representatives is choosing to not work and I, as their employer want to withhold all compensation until they do their job.
Pay and compensation, including health benefits, shall be withheld from elected members of the House of Representatives and their staff until the budget "fiscal cliff" crisis and debt ceiling bills have been passed and signed.
Furthermore, facilities like the house dining room, gymnasiums and other gratuitous "perks" shall be closed until they get something concrete accomplished.
