Donald Trump has proven that he is wreckless and cannot be trusted to maintain any information in confidence. Since the policy to provide presidential candidates with daily security briefings is not law, and was only started by Harry Truman in what he saw as a way to facilitate the transition of a new president, President Obama has every right to NOT provide any information to Trump. Since Donald Trump has already discontinued a 'traditional policy' by not providing his tax returns, he should have no recourse if President Obama takes a similar stance regarding national security.
