Currently Social Security Employee Tax that is withheld on earned income cease's once the employee has earned $106,800. Which means that the maximum amount a person pays into the Social Security System per year is $4,485.60.
I think that the Social Security Employee Tax withheld should be withheld on 100% of Employee Earned Income and that this arbitrary limit of no more Social Security Earned Income tax withheld on Earned Income above $106,800 should be removed.
Signed,
A taxpayer whose Earned Income exceeds $250,000 annualy.
