Women Should Not Pay for Feminine Products

Created by M.M. on August 24, 2016

As a female, purchasing pads, tampons, underwear liners, and everything in between consumes our wallets. In a women's lifetime, we will most likely spend nearly $20,000 on products during our menstrual cycle. We, females, did not choose to go through our "time of the month" during and after puberty. Yes, birth control can stop one's period for a period at a time, but the cost is almost extreme to stop our own body's natural function. Signing this petition will change the lives of many if the government agrees to provide each girl or woman of any age with free pads, free tampons, and free underwear liners, but only if the female themselves provide proof of current cycle and possibly with limitations of these needed products .
