What I propose is that a national referendum be held in which Women, and only Women participate to determine the status of all issues that fall under the umbrella of Women's Reproductive Rights. As a man, I cannot begin to imagine the physical, mental, or emotional trials that go into such decisions as abortion, emergency contraception, and the like; nor can I access these procedures because of my physiology, so my opinion should not override that of Women. Now, these issues are complex and multi-layered. Abortion by itself has many layers so the vote could become complicated. But if Women and Men smarter than me come together through this petition, maybe a resolution could come to be. Looking forward to your participation (both Women and Men) and please spread the word.
