Work with allies to create a no-fly zone over Syrian airspace & provide weapons and training for the rebels

The violence in Syria continues to escalate at the hands of Assad's brutal regime while the US sits passively in the corner, condemning the regime yet after almost two years, still falling short of action. The number of innocent women and children who have had their necks slit open by their own government should have the international community in outrage, particularly the US, who was quick to aid other Arab Spring revolutions, including Tunisia, Egypt, and Libya. We cannot stand by a watch this happen. This petition urges the US to do four things: join France in recognizing Syrian opposition as government, work with allies to establish a no-fly zone over Syria,increase military weapons and intelligence to Syrian opposition, and increase aid to Syrian displaced refuges.
