work with AOPA and EAA to streamline the FAA and cut waste - not punish general aviation for our nation's budget problem

Created by R.G. on June 05, 2013

The current budget cut demands are being applied to the FAA with no rational thought or investigation. The FAA makes threats to close towers and then pulls back when it receives political pressure. The 164 contracted control towers that were planned for closure run more efficiently than any of the FAA run control towers. Let's force the adminstration to put together a detailed analysis of the FAA budget and work with partners like the AOPA and EAA to streamline operations to achieve the necessary budget cuts rather than arbitrarily slashing the most efficient programs within the department.
