work in concert with Congress to create a Voters' Bill Of Rights.

Created by P.B. on November 13, 2012

A citizen's access to the ballot is currently solely dependent upon the state in which they live. Early voting, absentee voting, poll access and waiting times all vary by state and lead to voting irregulatities and the politization of one's very right to participate in government. We, the signers of this petition impress upon you the need to set nationwide standards for elections in this country, a Voter's Bill of Rights. Seeing as every state holds elections for federal office, there should be a uniformity in the holding of elections in this country. A Voter's Bill of Rights is intended to lay out the basic contract, expectations, and means by which a citizen by any state should be able to cast a ballot in this country.
