work with the Congress and other state and local governmental officials to restore civility in public life.

Created by T.G. on November 13, 2012

Reclaiming the public space as a safe ground for the exchange of views, opinions and ideas is important for national recovery. Attentiveness to the principles and the practices of CIVILITY is the key to helping our nation transcend the partisan bickering and senseless waste of time, energy and emotion of causes that advance not the public purpose. There is a nobility of purpose in the public life and bipartisan or nonpartisan efforts will be required to restore the faith and confidence in the integrity of our institutions of government - and the attributes of our appointed and elected public officials as safeguards of that invested public trust.
