Work with Congress to approve and finalize the Trans-Pacific Partnership before President Obama leaves office.

I am making this petition on my own behalf. As an immigrant from Vietnam 36 years ago, I have experienced first hand how America's leadership has created prosperity and a better living condition to many small Asian countries. The Trans-pacific partnership is the result of much hard-work by all involved countries and it will benefit all people and businesses in the TPP countries. The TPP is being marginalized by both presidential candidates for temporary political gains. That is not right and will have long term detrimental impacts to the US and many Asian countries that are counting on the US' leadership to counter the aggression of the Chinese government.
