President Obama should work closely with Congress to pass a law that caps homeowners mortgage rate to a maximum of 3 percent. And the life of the mortgage should be 20 years maximum as well. This law would save families thousands of dollars yearly. This law would inject the economy billions of dollars annually with no tax increases. This law would be for families that incomes are under $250,000.
