Work with Congress on creating legislation that will ban public money to finance or help build sports stadiums.

Created by J.R. on February 01, 2016

Economic studies have shown public money that goes towards the building of stadiums bring little economic benefit to the region and that money could be better spent in infrastructure and education.

Over the last 30 years we have seen many billionaires extort millions from cities with threats that they will leave town and cities end up forking out the money so these billionaires become even more rich. It's time for tax payers to be off the hook for new stadiums and upgrades.

We ask that your administration begin working with congress to implement legislation to ban tax payer funds for paying for new stadiums, stadium upgrades, and training facilities.
