It is time to stop messing around with partisan politics and develop a single-payer national health care system. We need to build a system based on what we should be (and Vermont already is) learning from other countries' single-payer systems. We want a streamlined system that sees cost savings over and above what the Health Care Reform Bill can possibly hope for and fill in any possible gaps that prevent a single U.S. citizen from ever going without needed healthcare. We want the President to directly address and educate the American people and Congress on why such a system is the ideal system.
The USA is the only Western nation that still won't get health care right. To count ourselves among the World's top nations we need our leaders to lead on a new national single-payer system.
