Whereas the legalization of home brewing under the Carter Administration has lead to the creation of entirely new forms of commerce including the selling of homebrewing supplies and the rapid expansion of of craft breweries founded by former home brewers
And whereas those new industries are responsible for job creation and broader consumer choices
And whereas America has become the global leader in beer brewing both in terms of volume, diversity of styles, and quality,
We the undesigned seek the legalization of the distillation of alcoholic beverages in the homes of American citizens.
