work with Congress to make it a Federal crime punishable 15 years to life, with no parole to commit crime with a firearm

Created by B.B. on January 10, 2013

I feel that President Obama and the Democrats in Congress are not attacking the real problem concerning the felonious use of firearms in this country. Law Their current ideas will hurt the natural rights of law abiding citizens to protect themselves, which is protected under the 2nd Amendment to the Constitution. Instead, I feel my government should be working to enact laws Federally, to make it a Federal crime to commit a forcible felony with a firearm. If there is a crime committed with a firearm, but does not result in injury or death, this should be punishable by 15-20 years in Federal supermax prison, with no possibility of parole. If there is an injury, the sentence should be life in Federal prison with no parole. If there is a death involved, the offender should face death penalty.
