Work with Congress to Repeal the 16th Amendment to the US Constitution (meaning no more Federal Income Tax)

Created by P.E. on November 13, 2012

The 16th Amendment allows Congress to directly levy taxes against the people of each state, despite the fact that the people of each state cannot directly impact Congress.

Even the marginally representative body, the House of Representatives only gives a single vote to each block of 720,000 people.

That, my fellow Americans, is direct taxation without adequate representation.

If we repeal the 16th Amendment, Congress will be unable to fund nearly all current social programs, forcing each state to individually decide whether they want those services and how they will fund them. This returns control of the government and its spending and taxation policies to the people, as our voice only exists at the state level.
