The United States of America was, for many years, able to function without a need to focus on religion everywhere. Religion, specifically Christianity and others that have an almighty called "God", is an affront to many non-Christians and non-religious alike. I hereby submit that the Government of The United States of America should focus on being the melting pot it once was, stop kowtowing to the most populace religious group, and remove "Under God" from the Pledge of Allegiance.
