To work with Congress to support the passage of and endorse H.R. 324, or to incorporate it's text into the annual NDAA.

Created by C.B. on November 29, 2012

We ask the Obama Administration to endorse and work with leaders in Congress to either encourage the passage of H.R. 324, To amend title 10, United States Code, to provide civilian police officers of the Department of Defense with authority to execute warrants, make arrests and carry firearms, or include the language in the annual National Defense Authorization Act. These officers put their lives on the line to protect and serve those who defend America. They make apprehensions and investigate crimes, however they are not classified as "law enforcement officers". Additionally, the lack of statutory arrest authority can put these officers in legal limbo, and ties up the resources of local law enforcement agencies that must take offenders into custody when DoD civilian officers can't.
