Work to create a government health care system that can be opted for instead of Social Security. A system where a citizen can choose to have their Social Security contributions used for a health care system instead of retirement. Or they could choose to contribute to a retirement system and cover their own health care. This system would only be available to those contributing to it, who would no longer be eligible to collect Social Security, or they could choose to collect Social Security and no longer be eligible to use the public health care option.
