Work on creating a united North American Union, from Panama to Canada

People all across the continent would benefit from a firm politically unified state with the power to tax, declare war, and represent all North Americans.
A politically and economically unified North America would lead to fewer trade barriers such as tariffs, a unified currency which would lend itself towards increased trade between North American countries. These factors would give more resources to the developed economies of the US & Canada, and more opportunities for workers in developing countries.
Politically, a union would ensure free speech across the continent, and a new state that would be strong against possible threats from China and North Korea.
