A) Work to ensure Veterans benefits and a veterans jobs bill B) Disallow congress from proposing its own pay increases

This petition is in response to the CBO planning on increasing the burden on military members, their families, and veterans and their families. There is no compensatory equality within the military complex with regards to the private sector. Additionally, taking aim at veterans and active members and their dependents while claiming to 'support the troops' and 'support the veterans' is nothing short of lying to Americans. I am petitioning this government to put in place a veterans jobs bill, to ensure the quality of life of active members as well as veterans by leaving benefits intact. Additionally, I am petitioning to disallow Congress or any other elected officials from creating their own pay raises - these matters should be voted on by the public, not other politicians.
