Don't use so many funds to rebuild other nations & put it into rebuilding our communities. Keep the funds in our country.
Most of the funds to go to food & affordable housing, but not just handouts. Work at volunteering jobs - help the elderly with odd jobs around their homes, helping Habitat for Humanity, read to youth in schools & libraries, etc. - to earn the government help. Delete food stamps & welfare. Make people accountable.
This could also be volunteering for municipal jobs that have been reduced due to government cuts, taking care of community gardens to feed families in need, taking care of public lands, etc.
If a person legitimately & physically not able to work, have a way to determine their ability for assistance.
