Work to forgive student loan debt to keep young workers from sliding into poverty and keep them productive citizens

This is a petition to encourage the Obama administration to help forgive student loan debt. Such debt is crushing young Americans who are already heavily and disproportionally burdened by current economic conditions. The Obama administration has hinted at this possibility in the past and should work to take on all private student loan debts and forgive all private and public student loan debt to ensure that young Americans and be productive citizens worried more about producing for this country's future than worrying over crushing catastrophic and inescapable debt.
