The population issue can't be ignored, there is limited space and it is getting smaller. New plans should be implemented to conserve and utilize what space we have. No more building out, but instead build inward and maximize our present available space with innovative design and building planning. There are numerous buildings on the drawing boards that do just that i.e. Buildings that are whole cities in themselves.
Our dependency on fossil fuel is unintelligent as a civilization. There are more alternative energy sources out there which aren't given the needed attention to be improved and implemented in everyday use. The first step should be that personal vehicles should be converted to or replaced by alternative means of fuel.
