Russia has announced plans to establish permanent bases on the moon with international support. The USA was not in these plans.
If we as a nation simply allow this breakthrough to happen without our support, we would be dooming ourselves to watch as other countries take our place as a scientific leader.
We must work to establish a base on the moon with or without the support of the Russian government. Doing so would create jobs, inspire education and innovation, and establish the USA as a frontrunner scientifically and economically.
