Congress, the Senate and the White House should have a pay freeze until they can actually stop their spending problems. Every senator, congressman and politician in DC should be locked into the capitol without cellphones, computers, aides or lobbies-ts and not released until they correct all the problems they have caused. Everyday they spend not fixing things costs them their pay and then slowly things will be shut off, first the cafeteria, then the air conditioners or heaters, then the water in the bathrooms. No one is allowed out until they clean the slate and actually do as they have promised. No back pay either. Honesty, morals and ethics need to be put back into DC.
