For generations, scores of American taxpayers who file as 'single, unmarried' and have no dependents have been placed at a severe economic disadvantage due to the lack of taxpayer credits available to them. Such unjust tax laws were crafted for and by those who file jointly with dependents.As a result, single taxpayers have footed an excessive tax burden in contrast to other taxpayers in U.S.A.
Unmarried people without dependents present the least burden upon our country's resources.Yet, at each level of society, tax laws are stacked in opposition to the unmarried, single taxpayer. At the federal level, unmarried taxpayers without dependents are offered no relief.
We the American People implore the Obama Administration to remedy these discriminatory and unjust federal tax laws.
